PLAYRMore playing. Less organising.
Playr is a UK sports app for finding a game, filling the empty places in yours, and running your team — all from one account.
Playr is in development and isn’t available to download yet.
How it works
Three parts, one account
-
Play
Tell Playr which sports you play, when you’re free, where you’re starting from, how far you’ll travel and what you’ll pay. It looks for a suitable game and keeps searching in the background. Choose to book automatically or review a match first.
-
Host
Short of players? Post a request with the venue, time, fee, ability level and game details. A request can stand on its own or be linked to one of your team’s fixtures.
-
Team
Run your side in one place: fixtures, who’s available, the squad, lineups, team conversations and team money.
About
Built for grassroots sport
Grassroots sport runs on goodwill and group chats. A five-a-side is one player short an hour before kick-off; a captain chases availability, subs and lineups every week. Playr is being built to take that work off people’s hands, starting in the UK.
The app is still being developed and tested. Features described here may change before release.
